It’s a great time to join us, we will be learning pieces for regular Sunday celebration worship services AND for Advent and Christmas.
Vocal Choir will be practicing Sundays after church service.
Thursdays at 6pm will be the music extravaganza practice, when we will be playing bells, drums and boomwhackers.
Making music is a lot of fun, but maybe you think you can’t play musical instruments or sing in a choir? Some people argue who was greater, the Beatles or Elvis Presley. Doesn’t matter who you like better, one thing both have in common: None of them could read music! They used numbers and other tricks to play music, which is what we also do.
If you are interested in joining any of the choirs, but have questions or doubts, please see me after church, or call 404-229-6907 or email me, langallenreeves@yahoo.com.
Thanks again for having me as your Music Minister. It is an honor and privilege that I very much enjoy.
mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance,
Lang
Sharing our gifts at a community church.
One of the ideas generated recently at the Nativity council retreat was to start a children’s music activity that would be held on Sunday mornings during adult forum at 9:00 to help parents and grandparents who would like to be able to attend adult forum. There would be two coordinators to work with the children from 9:00 to 10:00. The medium is boomwhackers that some of you may have heard the bell choir play in the past year. For those of you who are unfamiliar, they are colorful, physical, lightweight plastic hollow tubes that are tuned to specific notes. We will be playing simplified spiritual songs appropriate for beginners. We are excited to be able to offer this for the children
If you are interested in knowing more on how you can help serve during Worship, contact any council member or sign up.
