Duane Linnartz is a technical writer on his day job. He writes technical documents and operating procedures for the next generation of nuclear power plants being built by Westinghouse around the world - all from the comfort of his basement office. Duane began his career as an enlisted man in the US Navy's nuclear power program, then spent twenty years at the Waterford 3 nuclear station near New Orleans, Lousiana. In 2006, Duane began a short career as a high school physics and chemistry teacher in Walton County, Georgia. Thanks to a series of twists in the economy, he wound up back in nuclear power, but this time as a contractor rather than an in-house operator. It was at Nativity that he met Linda, and two years later, he and Linda were married. Duane is currently serving as our Buildings and Grounds leader.
